Our top priority is always patient safety. Our JCAHO accredited surgical center ensures that our office procedures and operating room conditions adhere to the strictest medical guidelines. Deep cleaning and sterilization is performed per JCAHO’s strict standards. The Joint Commission (JCAHO) accredits nearly 80 percent of U.S. hospitals, and there exists no audit process more rigorous for a place of surgery.
Please inform us of any symptoms or exposure to the virus. At this time, surgical candidates should have no history of exposure to the virus. Please do not come to the office if you have any cold symptoms or if you have an elevated temperature. Only one person at a time is permitted in the office at this time. When you visit us a face mask is mandatory.
Upon arrival we will take the temperature of each individual. In addition to the regular pre-op testing, a COVID-19 test using a molecular assay for detection of Sars-CoV-2 RNA no more than 3 days prior to the procedure will be required. The patient will have to be quarantined until the surgery date from the time of the COVID-19 test.
We have all the PPE required for the surgery.
